Tyros3, YAMAHA's flagship arranger workstation released in 2008, introduces S.Articulation2! voice technology, making the woodwind voices more realistic; the auto-accompaniment uses the new SFF GE (Style File Format Guitar Edition, also known as SFF2) format, making the guitar parts more realistic.

In addition, Tyros3 introduces synthesizer-style faders for adjusting parameters and manipulating the organ flutes. The hard disk recorder adds support for the MP3 format and the ability to overlap recordings.
