VTech Computer Pal in Concert
The Computer Pal in Music is a musical toy released by VTech. It resembles a typical desktop computer, consisting of a monitor (dot-matrix LCD screen), a mouse, and a keyboard with piano keys. It comes with expansion card, but their function is unknown.
There are at least two versions of the Computer Pal in Music: a Chinese version and an international (English) version. The English version was released in 1998, and the Chinese version was likely introduced around 2000. The earliest domestic reports about this product date back to 2004.
Based on currently available specifications, the following differences exist between the versions:
* The Chinese version has the words “音乐电脑” (Musical Computer) printed in Chinese characters above the screen;
* The “Sing Along” tracks on the international version differ from those on the Chinese version;
* The Chinese version lacks the “Music Movie” function.

The product features five music tracks (Rock, Hip Hop, Classical, Jazz, and Children's), each containing ten short tracks. The children's music includes custom-designed Chinese songs, nursery rhymes, and folk melodies.
Additionally, the product includes a sample track called “Sing Along,” titled “The ABC Song.”
The product also includes a multi-track audio game that allows you to toggle seven tracks; see track 55 for details.
